Overview of client requirements:

Great Yarmouth and Waveney PCT had previously used the CFSMS trainers to present the CRT Course for their staff. They were finding that the take up of the course was low due to the rigid nature of the course in terms of timings and content. They had a large amount of staff still to complete the CRT and were fearful they would not manage to train everyone within the time frame. IKON Training was tasked with producing a solution to these issues and to enable the maximum take up of this course.

The solution we provided:

We produced a bespoke CRT course which still maintained the aims and objectives of the CFSMS CRT course but altered the methodology to allow 3½ hours contact. The benefit to the client is substantial in terms of reducing abstractions but still managing to provide the training for the staff. Our flexible approach and ability to provide what the client needs has been hugely beneficial to this client. The overall satisfaction of this course is ‘95% highly satisfied’.
