We will review CRT principles and expand on use of force legislation and policy. The ethos of the training will be based on simplistic and effective skills to deal with a range of scenarios. We will cover dealing with confused wandering patients to an aggressive physical attack. We will focus on sound communication and teamwork and always emphasise that physical intervention is used as a last resort. Delegates will practice control and relocation of service users using minimum and proportionate force. The final day will include a range of workplace scenario’s.
We will aim to start at 9.00am and finish at 4.30pm with appropriate comfort and meal breaks.
