IKON Training expands its Associate Training staff for 2009

Following the successful new client acquisitions in 2008 and our expansion plans for 2009 we have extended our Associate Training program to include the following new trainers.

NHS Suffolk assigns Ikon Training to facilitate their Conflict Resolution Training.

NHS Suffolk is the primary care trust for the county of Suffolk and cares for a population of 585,000.

IKON Training has been assigned the role as training provider for Conflict Resolution Training for 2000 new and existing staff within the trust across the county.

West Suffolk MIND follows the East in combined Conflict Resolution and Breakaway Training Day’s.

Mind is the leading mental health charity in England and Wales and have around 200 local Mind Associations.

IKON Training have been working with East Suffolk Mind throughout 2008 and have now been appointed  training provider for the West Suffolk Region to deliver combined Conflict Resolution and Breakaway Training Day’s for all staff within the association.

IKON Training is appointed Conflict Resolution training suppliers to Lambeth PCT across the whole organisation.

Primary care in Lambeth is provided by:

• Community nursing and therapy teams.
• 200 family doctors (GPs) across 52 practices.
• 40 dental practices.
• 21 ophthalmic practices.
• 60 pharmacies.

Around 345,000 people are registered with local doctors in Lambeth and they employ around 900 people .IKON Training has been appointed by Lambeth PCT to deliver the Conflict Resolution Training across the organisation of Lambeth PCT.

IKON Training is appointed training supplier to Merseyrail.

Merseyrail is an urban network of vital importance to the transport infrastructure of Liverpool/ Merseyside

Merseyrail has 900 frontline staff that are split up into the following work groups: Ticket Inspectors, Station Assistants and Guards.

These staff all have some Conflict Resolution Training on induction but have identified the need for more comprehensive training to deal with the rise in incidents involving their staff

The staff have faced a number of both physical and verbal assaults. Merseyrail needed help to design courses, deliver training, advice on strategic developments and guide them from an expert’s point of view.

IKON were tasked with evaluating the training requirements of Merseyrail staff then providing the necessary training

Hinchingbrooke Healthcare NHS Trust appoints IKON Training to supply Conflict Resolution Training and Breakaway Training.

Hinchingbrooke Healthcare NHS Trust provides health care for the people of Huntingdonshire and surrounding areas. More than 161,000 people rely on the hospital for a range of services.

IKON Training as been appointed to supply all the CRT and Breakaway Training.

City Hospitals Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust appoints IKON Training as official training suppliers.

City Hospitals Sunderland is an Acute Trust providing a wide range of hospital services such as A&E, surgical and medical specialties, therapy services, maternity and pediatric care. They pride themselves on the quality and range of care provided to the patients of Sunderland and North Easington.

City Hospitals Sunderland was established as an NHS Trust in April 1994 and became an NHS Foundation Trust in July 2004.

Amanda Baker Dipl. Psych UKCP Accredited joins the team at IKON Training

Amanda is fully qualified humanistic integrative psychotherapist. What this means is that she draws from a wide range of strategies, techniques and theories.

Amanda is fully accredited by The British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists.

New Sales and Marketing Director joins IKON

Our new Sale and Marketing Director Carl Ballard has joined the Board of Directors at IKON Training.

Carl joins us with a wealth of experience in running businesses over the last 12 years.

He has worked with many major corporations, both national and international, commercial, corporate and professional institutions and Charities such as: Royal Bank of Scotland Group, HSBC, Egg, BSM/RAC,First Direct, Vodafone, Sky, AOL, ICAEW and NSPCC.

His main responsibilities will be the generation of new sales and business development for IKON Training.

He will also be fully responsible for Marketing and PR for IKON Training
