Jason first became interested in conflict management during his RAF career when he qualified as a Physical Training Instructor in 1990. As a specialist trainer, it was his responsibility for all aspects of physical training including fitness and self defence. Jason specialised in leadership training and has organised and led many expeditions in the UK and abroad.

He has been a qualified home office personal safety trainer since 2000 and a director of IKON Training Ltd since 2004. He has been involved in personal safety training for a variety of different agencies including the police, NHS, Premier league football clubs, local authorities, charities and various private sector companies. During this time he has been responsible for planning, designing and delivering courses for over 16 thousand delegates.

Jason is a member of The Institute of Conflict Management (MICM) and operates to the ICM code of practice. He is constantly developing his skills, and has recently qualified as an A1 Assessor and is currently studying for his Certificate in Education (Cert Ed.)
