Working with IKON has been an excellent experience from our first scoping meeting looking at what we needed as an organisation, with advice and guidance and expertise on how this could be tailored just for us through to the delivery of our courses. IKON embraced our Trust policies and procedures and used our own stories and challenges to design a programme that is real and alive for our staff. My staff have unanimously enjoyed every course the team have delivered and have gone away feeling safer and more confident and competent to carry out appropriate and proportionate clinical holding and restrictive interventions. The IKON trainers are engaging and clearly very skilled and our staff have all commented on how much fun the days have been as well as informative. And I mustn’t forget the ‘behind the scenes’ support from the office; the logistics have been so slick with bookings and scheduling (and painless rescheduling when we have had to cancel due to clinical pressures), documentation and reports have always been provided as and when needed. I couldn’t recommend IKON highly enough; and I have in fact done so already to colleagues and peers.
